8 - River Findhorn Walk - Logie Steading - Friday 24th August
Walking along the steep banks of the River Findhorn to Randolph’s Leap from Logie Steading. Wear stout boots and bring your cameras to capture the magnificent views. Some of the high paths are very near the edge of the cliffs so care is needed and this walk is not suitable for young children.
Meet: 3pm, Logie Steading, B9007 signed off the A90.
Duration: 1 1/2 - 2 hours. 2 miles
Grading: Moderate - Strenuous.
9 - Hard Rock Highway - Strathlene to Portknockie - Sat. 25th Aug
The Grampian Mountains hit the sea at Strathlene, the start of the walk which follows the coastal trail along the cliffs to the picturesque fishertown harbour at Findochty, where the “Mannie” statue ponders the wonders of the deep. From Findochty to Portknockie the coastal cycle way hugs the side of the coast, with high views over the Firth and possibilities of dolphin spotting. Walk finishes by the Bowfiddle Rock, a huge and much photographed rock arch
Meet: 10am, Strathlene, below the Golf Course Clubhouse. Transport will be provided back from Portknockie, fee £3 per adult, payable on booking.
Duration: 2 hours.

Moderate - Strenuous. Rocky surfaces, steep climbs and steps.

10 - Ben Rinnes - Sunday 26th August
A Friend of Ben Rinnes will lead the walk up Moray’s most distinctive Corbett, height 840 metres. If the visibility is good the views from the summit are spectacular. Bring plenty of refreshments and be prepared for all weathers, even if it’s sunny at the bottom. Stout footwear is essential.
Meet: 10am, (OS Landranger map no 28, grid ref; 284 359) Ben Rinnes Car Park.
Duration: 4 hours. 8 kms, 550 metre climb.
Grading:
Strenuous.
